So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

The one beverage that everyone seems to not get enough today is not water, or juice, or tea but coffee. That's probably the reason why so many coffee shops are present today that sell coffee that are kind of costly. That is why other people have resorted to another option - a coffee maker.

If you are already planning to own one, here are some useful tips you'd have to remember when choosing a coffee maker.

The first thing you have to think about is what type of coffee maker you want. There are actually five types to choose from. First is the espresso maker which creates yummy, concentrated coffee. The manual drip or otherwise called percolator which boils coffee. What follows is the electric drip or automatic coffee maker, which is the most popular pick. After that there's the French Press Coffee Maker that creates a balanced blend between flavour, price and convenience. Finally, there's the vacuum pot. Another thing to think about aside from the type is the maximum volume the coffee maker can hold. It depends on how much coffee you like to drink and whether you're brewing for one or more persons. The most common coffee makers can brew about 8, 10 or 12 cups of coffee.

One more consideration is the style of coffee maker you prefer. The countertop model is the style that is more preferred today, but there are also people who like the space-saving under cabinet coffee maker.

If you're already eyeing a specific coffee maker brand and style then you should first check if for a number of things before purchasing it.

A feature that you should look for is its over-all consumer score. The score should be almost all positive. Also, it should be user-friendly, meaning its functionalities are easy to figure out. It is here that a semi-programmable coffee maker is more preferred because you can easily change the settings. Also, you should also look into the size of the coffee maker.

Finally, consider the warranty the brand or store gives you. It is essential to buy a maker from a store that has a good reputation for they can give you the best, value for money warranty.
