So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Five Important Aspects While Carrying Out Restaurant Assessments

By Gloria Gardner

To assess any restaurant either good or bad, one has to keep many points in mind. The major aspect that influences during the restaurant assessments is the type of food and service. Other factors while assessing any eating facility are the quality of service, ambiance and atmosphere, and price.

The gastronomy must include different varieties of cuisine. The type of food served, creates an overall impression of that eating joint. However, it is quite possible that while having the same experience, at the same place, people will have varied opinion about the cuisine.

Another view that should come to mind while deciding where to go is the quality of service. The professionalism displayed by the staff while serving or during processing the payment matters a lot. Politeness is appreciated by all, and quick and prompt service is liked even more. Many restaurants forget this point leading to unsatisfied customers who never turn up again.

The varieties of beverages, choice of cocktails and alcoholic drinks also determine the standard of restaurants you visit. The waiters should have extensive knowledge of all the drinks. There are many other beverages such as iced tea, mint tea, or coffee, which must be available at all times during the day.

The environment and ambiance of the place usually generate the first impression. The stewards and waiters must be in immaculate uniform always. In the kitchen, the main emphasis must be on cleanliness and proper hygiene. The chef and other staff should be well disciplined.

Restaurant Assessments depend upon the food and service, value for money, as well as the overall environment. One should emphasize the food quality and at the same time try to balance other factors to attract the crowd. A very formal environment or a casual atmosphere is not liked by everyone as it might attract only a few people.
