So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

How About a New Approach to Reduce Emissions to Help the Ecology?

By Marielle Solidum

There are so many elements of modern life which harm the environment and only a few don't contribute to air pollution. Even though less emissions from automobiles is a decent objective for which the use of devices such as catalytic converters have been made compulsory, the reality still lags far behind reality. Laws depend on implementation, and only main cities impose the emission laws. Even they have a high percentage of vehicles which are non-compliant, despite mandatory compliance testing at common intervals because there are many tricks to steer clear of having to comply. It is easy because from simply arriving for testing with a motor hot from a high-speed run to temporarily switching motors from a real performance tiger to a compliant pussycat for the test and then swapping back afterwards, you can escape from having to comply.

Laws don't work well apparently because feasible enforcement of laws is nigh on impossible, and an honor system hasn't been proven feasible either. Perhaps the time has arrived to appeal to the only matter that always functions and that is self- interest. What is needed is a way of enhancing performance and ending up with super-compliant engines. Of course, there will still be those with older vehicles who won't comply but these can be weeded out over time and the preliminary compliance rate will be much higher, resulting in dramatically less emissions from vehicles and lower levels of air pollution. But is it possible to reach the goal of enhancing performance and even fuel efficiency with less emissions? Aren't these kinds of goals incompatible?

Well, there is a company called Magnum Fuel Rx, which boasts of being able to do just that. In fact, they claim to be able to reduce carbon footprint to zero While improving fuel consumption figures and both the power and performance of motors. You have to see the results for you to believe, right? The system has already been tested and proven by several police departments in their fleets of vehicles and the results so far have been astonishing.

When you understand the underlying reasoning, it all ties up. Discharges are due to gas not being burnt completely in the cylinders. The extra goes to waste, being expelled along with the products of combustion. In fact, the job of devices just like catalytic converters is to process this waste fuel into harmless gases. If complete combustion were promising, it would lessen the proportion of fuel wasted and produce more power from the same quantity of fuel, which in turn would need less gas to travel at customary rates of speed, reducing fuel bills.

This is exactly what the two modules, a Fuel module and an Octane module involved in the Magnum Fuel Rx system, can achieve. They are installed to the underside of the gas tank, from in which they send special frequencies of radio waves into the fuel. These waves alter the structure of the gas in such a way as to improve its octane rating (without added components) as well as to allow complete combustion of gas in the cylinders.

The result is the performance enthusiasts dream about as well as making the tree-huggers and economy-minded happy. Improved performance with more power and improve MPG, while achieving less emissions (in fact, zero emissions); no wonder Magnum Fuel Rx is so excited about their system. It is set to improve the state of the art by orders of magnitude. But the best is that it will appeal to self-interest in the form of egos and pocketbooks while working for the common good.
