So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas

Rider's Overview: The Judge Today

By Darnell Austria

There are still labels that elicit strong thoughts of Americana inside the hearts of men just as much as The Judge. Experience the tingle in your spine also, the acceleration of your heart whilst you mention the words aloud. You can almost look at the brilliant orange Pontiac GTO Judge scream down the street, the entire 400 cubic inches of ram air engine striving to tear the entire body to shreds. Well, I'm talking about the 2nd, well known batch of The Judge, as well as my personally picked model.

The moment Victory Motorcycles revealed the latest incarnation of that hallowed namesake, The Judge. Those emotions of the classic muscle car flash back earlier may as well stay because the 113 ft-lbs. 106" Freedom V-twin along with those mag rims and fat Dunlop lettering around the tire are definitely the heart and soul of American strength. Though a Hurst shifter isn't under the option checklist, Victory's 6-speed tranny with positive neutral finder and helicut gears permits the driver shred tires stop light to stop light and even cruise freely over the highway.

The lines on The Judge are considered the pure and clean Victory design its followers and owners have come to like, matched with the cruiser motorbike lure that differentiates it from its larger touring brethren. Yet another vary from the classic muscle cars of earlier times is the limited brightness of chrome, Victory deciding to go for a little more contemporary black-out appearance that is very popular lately. The tailpipe, triple trees, engine, headlight and lots more receive the touch. Something tells me that most of the Judges will be purchased in the fancy, trademark Suede Nuclear Sunset, but Gloss Black and Sunset Red Judges are also offered. The drag bars and bodywork are totally new for The Judge, just like the tail light, fender struts, and EFI covers.

This motorbike wasn't simply designed as an all-out highway brawler; the creative designers and planners also prevailed in producing a motorcycle that has the capability to fit in a new segment of rider that Victory has not really highlighted. The mount controls are the farthest ever on a Victory, and also the 25.9" saddle height makes the whole bike ideal for, and therefore I quote, "bikers with modest in seams." For well-endowed riders, the mix of a decreased center of gravity and a cool biking position can make for quite the electrifying ride. Victory's usual high grade suspensions together with semi-floating braking system rotors furthermore lend themselves towards a terrific ride. With a 4.5-gallon tank, don't worry hopping from gas station to another.
