So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Your First New Car: Shop with Both Your Budget and Wallet in Mind

By Neil Limas

So you are thinking about purchasing your first new car?It feels good doesn't it?You won't have to drive a lemon any longer. You know the car. It's the one that your parents gave you after your high school graduation.Although it was a serious clunker at the time, it still got you to wherever you needed to be.

However, you are now a college graduate and want to purchase a new auto. So, how are you going to do it?What type of thought have you put into this new purchase? The following article is going to help you answer a few of these questions and also make some suggestions.

What Type of Car Can You Afford?

Quite naturally, you should sit down and devise a budget. You probably have other financial responsibilities too.Unless you are staying with your parents for a few more years, you will have other bills to pay.Resist the urge to purchase a pricey car.Keep in mind that you are not the only person who wants a flashy and expensive car.If you cannot foot the bill, then don't buy it.

What Do You Want to Buy?

Sure, you will be tempted to get an expensive car just like your friends have.Or, you like the car that your boss has.But remember that you and only you will be responsible for the monthly car note.Maybe you want a sporty car or convertible.Bascially, the only rule is go out and buy it, if you are budgeted for it.Car dealerships will sell plenty of car packages. Some of them are basic models whereas some are fully loaded.Your choice will be based upon what you can afford.

However, just like everyone else, there are certain things that you refuse to do without in your new car.For instance, if you live in a region that is known for very hot weather, you must have an air conditioner.Sometimes you don't have to pay anything extra for airconditioning installation.

But, many companies want to charge more for airconditioning service.Service would be a major cost as well, if something were to happen.

It is these types of things that you have to consider when making car purchases.Once again purchase them based upon what you can afford. There are a few car companies that offer car models that have great standard features. But on the other hand, other car companies will make you pay extra for things that are normally standard on with other company brands.Just do a lot of car comparisons and shop wisely.

In conclusion, shopping for your first new car is a great feeling.Remember, that this is a serious time too.You will have the urge to get more car than you can afford.Unfortunately, your first new will not be the one that you have always wanted. But, anything is better than the used car that your mother and father gave you after high school.
