So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

3 Types of Employees That Can Ruin Your Business

As an employer, you know there is no harder job than being the person who is responsible for hiring and firing employees. Being the boss is never going to make you a popular person. But you must know that your company should consider weak employees.

When it comes to determining who should stay and who may be jeopardizing the success of your company, however, how do you choose? How do you know you are making the right choice? Three types of employees can put your company at risk.

Employees You Don't Want in Your Company

Not Passionate- The easiest weak employees to identify are the ones who don't put in any heart in the work. Showing up late all the time wearing unkempt staff uniform and always leaving early - you need to be careful of these traits. These employees won't even seem to care to try and complete the tasks they are assigned. You may not find it difficult to let these employees go at all. Employees who bringing the company down should not be allowed to work.

Effort, But No Results- Tidy staff uniform clad individuals like with these may keep you hoping. You can count on them for hard work and sincerity. They may even put in additional hours. However, they are incapable of doing their job, or are perhaps no longer capable of doing it. The hard work of such employees is not needed. They aren't adding any value to your company, and it is most likely costing you a lot of money to correct their mistakes. These are good people so you must be fair when letting them go.

Just Don't Fit- Then there are the employees that seem to do everything right. Their corporate wear is always tidy, they show up on time and they put in a lot of effort and get results. These employees seem like they would be perfect for the job, except for one thing. They just don't fit into your company's corporate culture. Normal work timings may not be enough for certain workaholic perfectionist office cultures and some employees may not get in tune with that. Again you should be honest with such employees tell them how they didn't fit in.

In the end, deciding which of the individuals who wear your work uniform should stay and which should go is a choice you have to make. Your company and your employees should benefit from your decision.
