I have a great husband. His name is Tom and he does everything a husband is supposed to do. He helps provide for the family, he supports and loves us, and he protects us from harm. He is a Godly man and he knows how to be a leader in both a familial sense and a workplace sense. He is a hard worker. That's why I don't mind one bit that he he loves collecting guns, especially AK-47 assault rifles. He even wears gun tees that feature his favorite rifle.
When I say that my dear husband loves AK-47 assault rifles, I really mean it. If you want to get him really excited, just ask him why. He'll proudly point to whatever which of his cool AK-47 t-shirts he's wearing at the time and start telling you the entire history of the gun. It can be a bit overwhelming.
When I say my husband is really dedicated to his collection, I can't stress that enough. While some people who are very dedicated to their interests, they can tend to ignore some of the more important things in life...like God, kids, or your lovely wife. My dear Tom does none of those things. He is just as attentive to his family as he is to his personal interests. He can wear all the cool gun shirts he wants, as long as he kisses me every day and takes out the garbage.
Of course, you can't be immersed in something like that for so long without being drawn to it yourself. While I may have started off fairly ignorant of gun ownership and responsibility through the years. I have even started getting pretty excited about wearing my very own women's version of gun shirts, most of them featuring my sweetheart's favorite gun: the AK-47.
I never thought I would be where I am today. I never even pictured myself as a homemaker. Now I clean house, raise three children, and attend to the needs of a large house. I love my life and my husband, and we are both insanely in love after all of these years. Because of that love, I support gun rights and gun ownership. I wear gun tees to the supermarket and I'll debate the staunchest anti-gun person around. My husband has worn off on me, I suppose.
