So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas

Kawasaki Lift Kits Add Extra Fun

By Charlotte McBride

ATVs are well known for being a great source of exciting outdoors fun on uneven or muddy terrain but they are good for so much more as well. They offer a versatile form of transportation for hunters and campers, and a great tool for those doing clearance or planting work in fields. As effective as their stock options are, adding Kawasaki lift kits and extra large tires makes them even better.

As a general rule, ATVs are made for surfaces that are uneven and challenging, not those that are paved smooth and flat. Their bodies are designed for bouncing, sliding and traversing ground that other cycles would find near impossible. No matter what type of purpose one has for their bike, there are accessories available to make it even better.

Large, extra wide tires is one of the first things most riders choose to add to their Kawasaki four wheeler. This is because the additional height and weight provides more stability and control and allows one to take on bigger obstacles. They pull the body of the bike up at least 2" from the ground so that there is less chance of undercarriage scraping when taking a hard landing.

The monster tires may be fun, but combine them with a lift kit and the excitement level doubles. To install them, a bracket is bolted in the middle of the mount and shock assembly. Once everything is on, two more inches are added to those already provided by the bigger wheels which improves the clearance for higher brush and debris.

This installation process is generally fairly quick and easy, do not require any special mechanical skills or complex tools. A person with a basic understanding of how the bike is built and the ability to read can have the whole thing complete in just a couple of hours. The manufacturer has taken great care to make sure that the guides are written in clear language so that anyone can comprehend them.

Kits are placed both on the front and back of the cycle. The A-arms are lowered by those in the forefront and the rear axle is rotated to raise the vehicle. The changes alter the level of the bike but do not upset the angle of the suspension which keeps the ATV balanced and stable to ride.

Huge wheels and lift kits work together to provide both fun and advantages. The extra 2-4" brings the intakes on the cycle up to a level that raises them high enough that they are able to avoid being clogged by mud, water and debris when traveling in rougher terrain. It also keeps the tires safer from fender scrapes and rubs during turns and landings which makes it less likely to get wear spots or flats.

Kawasaki lift kits and extra big tires are just two of the many accessories available to make one's ATV experience more thrilling. For people who use their cycle to do field or yard work, a seed spreader and towing bar could prove to be quite useful. Hunters and campers may enjoy the convenience of spotlights or heavy duty rear storage boxes.
