So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Flat Irons & the Ways Fictional Characters Are Helped

By Rob Sutter

Flat irons are needed so that hair is helped, more specifically unkempt locks. It's not like these people cannot look but sometimes the forces of nature come about and the people who struggle to maintain their looks are the ones who seem to suffer the most. The benefits that are seen are ones that shouldn't be left unnoticed. In fact, I believe that such helpful devices can be utilized so that female characters in fiction, no matter what, are rendered less wild-looking.

One of the females in fiction who had wavy, or even wild, hair in the past was Hermione Granger. The lead female wizard from the "Harry Potter" books was described as being one who was unkempt but pretty nonetheless. Even so, I think that she would benefit from utilizing flat irons and choosing the right one for her would be something that I'm not sure she would have the patience for. Nonetheless, they stand to be used and they can be found within hair care authorities like NewVo Beauty.

People who enjoyed watching teenage comedies during the late 90's and even later may recall "Boys Meets World." Out of the slew of personalities on the show, the main female character is most certainly the little flower child, Topanga Lawrence. She grew up to be less preachy in her hippie-esque ways but her appearance seemed to remain the same for quite a number of years. Her long hair was especially characteristic due to its length and natural, almost wild, aesthetic.

As someone who's enjoyed "Rocky Horror Picture Show" extensively, Susan Sarandon is another actress to mention. Whereas her role of Janet - amongst others - required her to have a more girl next door aesthetic, her life away from the screen has proven that she does not think much of straightening her hair. It's one of those points to consider when talking about hairstyles. While some have hair that isn't necessary straight by means of nature, others simply desire it.

When it comes to using a flat iron, some people might be hesitant when it comes to investing in it. In some cases, people are proud of their hair which may not necessarily be straight. Big events may call for it for some people, though, and people want to be able to look prim and proper for social gatherings. These actresses have proudly worn their hair the ways they wanted to but I think that this method can help to elicit a change.
