So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Understanding The Auto Salvage Tampa Yard Process

By Alyce Larson

There are several auto salvage Tampa yards that sell a variety of parts for all types of vehicles. Millions of vehicles, trucks, and SUVs are sold nationally each year. Many of these car sales are new vehicles but there is a large number of used vehicles that are purchased. The older models typically experience mechanical issues and will need replacement parts.

Vehicles that are not considered to be in safe driving condition are decommissioned. The most environmentally sound method used are bringing them to junk yards where their parts are removed. This method is cleaner than dumping auto parts in landfills that cause harm to the environment.

A large percentage of car parts are able to be salvaged or recycled for continued use. Several parts can be reused once taken from older models. There are professionals that know how to dismantle vehicles for their parts. They get rid of parts that are inoperable parts. These professionals must comply with environmental and safety regulations when disposing of the inoperable car parts. Any usable vehicle parts are sold. There are businesses that practice environmentally friendly methods to removing and eliminating parts that cannot be sold.

During the process of pretreatment, the vehicle is taken apart for it's parts. All of the fluids are removed from the vehicle including the fuel, coolant and oil. This is done to prevent leakage. Leakage of these types of fluids cause ground and water contamination. The tires, battery, gas tank and other parts are removed during this process.

The majority of the parts that can be repurposed. Even the parts that cannot be resold, are used other purposes. The gas tanks are usually recycled and made into scrap metal after the fuel has bee removed. The tires are re-treaded or burned for the rubber.

After pretreatment is done, these remaining parts are inspected. If it looks like a car can be restored, it will be fixed and put up for sale. But in most cases, the useable parts that are in the car will be removed and re-sold. These businesses keep an inventory of their parts. Most keep an online database making it easy for buyers to perform a search for the parts they need.

Vehicles that have parts that are going to be removed and sold are taken to the junk yard where consumers are able to get what they need. If someone needs a hard-to-find part, they can search the inventory of various dealers that offer online services.

Auto salvage Tampa lots provide a number of different car parts at discounted prices. All types of parts are sold including electrical parts, panels, engines, tires, and transmissions. After the resellable have been removed from the vehicle, the vehicle's frame will be crushed. The parts from the frame are sold as scrap and the plastic parts are sold for recycling purposes. Not much is wasted when it comes to breaking down a vehicle for it's parts. To locate inexpensive or hard to find auto parts, visit any local dealer that specializes in this kind of business.
