So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas

Make or Break Your Marketing Strategy

By Ryan Wilson

Every business owner will give you a different answer if you ask them what they rely upon. Many of these people rely on a mixture of intuition and knowledge while others may rely only on experience and customer loyalty.

Use promo products to motivate potential customers- What most don't realise is while each of these factors are essential for ensuring the success of a business, none can truly function without an effective marketing strategy.

The Importance of a Marketing Strategy

In the absence of the right marketing strategy it is impossible to develop a good business plan. It is a roadmap that defines the decision making process, sets goals, and creates customer loyalty. Make promo products part of your marketing strategy!

How?

The knowledge of product selling alone isn't going to be enough to develop a successful marketing strategy and you need customers.

It is an important part of the business to figure out what the customer needs are. They don't want to buy things. They want to purchase solutions to problems. Some might have needs to fill. When they open their wallet they want to be the ones gaining the benefits. When you think of a target audience you should think of their needs which is the most important way of implementing a marketing strategy.

Effective Marketing Strategy

It is much easier to market a product or service when you show that you care. Next thing you need to do is implement ideas that motivate customers to make the purchase.

Making Money- Customers would love making a profit just like everyone else and if they can do this by buying your product there is nothing more they want. Use an affiliate program for this. For instance, when a loyal customer refers a new client to the business, you might reward them with a small cash bonus.

Saving Money - Discounts are always a motivating factor for customers, especially in these tough economic times. Offering free promo products, like tote bags, pens, or lanyards, with every purchase gives the customer a sense of saving money because they received something they didn't have to pay for.

Having More Time - Giving customers more time can be just as motivating as giving them a discount. There is really no time to waste. A product that saves their time or a service that does the same will always be appreciated.

Decreasing Stress - Most people suffer from stress. Regardless of the cause of the stress, the levels of stress are high for everyone. By offering the customers something that can reduce stress you are offering them something important. Often times, this means having a strong management team and fantastic customer service representatives that are armed with tote bags full of promo products like lanyards, stress balls, and pens, and are available to quickly and easily solve problems. Sometimes it might be the simple effort of keeping your store open till late so customers don't have to rush their day.

Your intuition, management team, and experience may help run the business, but having an effective marketing strategy centred on the customer is essential to ensuring its success.
