So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Several Points Regarding Refrigerant Recovery

By Traci Witt

Refrigerant The procedure of removing used up gas from a refrigeration system into a special cylinder is known as refrigerant recovery. After being recovered, the gas is either disposed off as waste or recycled into pure refrigeration vapor again. Reclaiming of refrigerant recycling is preferred over disposal since it is environmentally friendly and cost effective.

Just like every recycling processes, the input of the gas recycling process is used up refrigerants. These inputs are taken through several vigorous separation protocols which remove each and every form of impurity from the gas. The protocols employ several separation methods which are both physical and chemical in nature and special chambers are built to direct the gases through various separation stages. In the end fairly pure forms of the refrigerants are produced for reuse in various refrigeration systems.

All reclamation procedures are initiated by selecting the correct equipment as well as tools. The man-fold gauge, a special scale and recovery cylinders are among the various tools and equipment which are used in this process. Each tool has its use and is equally important in ensuring that all the refrigerant is reclaimed from a system.

Machines that are used in recovering used refrigerants come in various sizes as per the size of a unit. Bigger units require stronger pumps while smaller units can be serviced by machines that less power. There is no way that a weak machine can achieve a vacuum state in a bigger unit. This is because more power is required in sucking all the gas out.

Setting up a recovering machine for gas evacuation requires the following of several little steps. Every installation step in this procedure is important and therefore they must be followed even if they seem insignificant. They all aid in the achievement of the intended task.

Refrigeration systems vary in size and capacity in terms of the volume of gas they can accommodate. This means that the machines applied in recovering refrigerants from their systems also vary widely. A machine which has more power would be required to flash out gas from bigger systems and he opposite would be employed in smaller units. Also, it is expected that the time taken to fully vacuum a larger unit would be more compared to a tiny unit.

The unit being vacuumed must be off during the gas recovering process. This is important since there should be no force opposing the vacuuming machine from driving out the unwanted refrigeration gas from the system. Hence, always ensure that your unit cannot be turned on while the recovering process is set in motion.

Before running your refrigerant recovery machine you must first take care of several things. One, the unit must be off and locked in that position if possible. Also, hoses must be connected to the cylinder, gauge and recovering machine according to the laid down rules. Subsequently, your machine must not continue running when a vacuum has already been created.
