So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

How To Be Prepared To Deal With Danger

By Rodney B Cozden

In terms of personal safety, we can't take chances. That came from a security consultant talking about how we could protect ourselves in and out of our properties. I found the presentation extremely informative. While I had currently taken actions to keep safe, I still learned a lot from Jameson.

My sibling insisted I carry a non-fatal device the moment I leave out of the house. Since I walk home at night, it's really sage advice. My self-defense spray in a leatherette holster includes a key ring, and fits conveniently in my pocket or purse. This can spray up to a range of 10 feet.

The goal is to cease him from whatever he's planning against you. I have seen opponents howl in pain from a burning feeling on the skin, and gagging, due to being pepper-sprayed. That has allowed me to get away. I am aware these effects are temporary and do not leave irreversible damage.

Fred, my sibling, got himself diversion safes as soon as he started residing in an apartment during college. He wanted to keep his minimal resources hidden, and what better way than conceal them in plain sight? What with soda cans all over the place, he decided on an A&W Rootbeer can safe.

It has a removable top and bottom in which you can store cash, jewelry and also other possessions. Made to look like normal food products or household items, diversion safes are weighted to feel full as well as may be kept in their usual places in order to escape a burglar's notice.

A blogger I follow at one time shared regarding personal alarm systems which could be put wherever and also carried along whenever traveling. According to Emma, who tested it, her mini travel alarm emits a 100dB audio the moment its motion sensors detect activity within the covered area.

When the infrared sensor is revealed, this can detect motion within 60 seconds up to a length of 9 feet. The alarm beeps for 15 seconds, enough to scare off a burglar.

I now advocate personal safety through a number of gadgets and devices. Being ready never hurts.
