So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Tips To Help You Refill Pre Inked Stamps

By Andrea Davidson

Pre inked stamps are a fast and convenient way to mark various documents without having to stop and fill up the stamp each time it is being used. These handy little tools can be used again and again before needing to replace the liquid in the product.

Depending on the type of product that has been purchased, there may be a users manual accompanying the stamper to give you specific details regarding how you go through the process of refilling the product. If there are no manuals with your stamper, you can also take a quick glance at the company website as many of them will have tips and tricks to help you refill the stamper quickly and easily. However, even without a manual or website available, most of the time, these products are very similar and will not only function in the same way but, refill the same way.

Because it can sometimes be a messy task to refill a stamper, it is a good idea to get a roll of absorbing paper towels as well as some rubber gloves to cover the work area and your skin from getting ink on it. There is no need for fancy, expensive gloves, any pair of rubber gloves will do just great. Costs for the rubber gloves will vary but, usually they can be bought anywhere and at minimal cost.

Once you have put on the rubber gloves and have completely covered the surface area of the place you plan to work then carefully open the product to expose the area where it will be refilled. Depending on the model that you have you may need to either slide the tray out or push it.

After you have exposed the stamper, you will see there is an area where the liquid can be placed. You maybe surprised to realize that the product will only take a few tiny drops before it is filled to its limit. Often, it's as few as six drops or fewer to reach the fill level.

While you may be tempted to try and overfill the ink space to save you time, overfilling it will actually cause the stamper to smudge documents making them pretty messy and hard to read. Once filled, give the stamper time to settle before you start to use it on your documents.

After you have filled your stamper and allowed it to settle for a little while, it is always a good idea to try it on something before using it on important documents. Occasionally, regardless of how careful you are sometimes smudging can happen so you should always test your stamper before use.

The frequency of refilling pre inked stamps depends on different factors. The size as well as the usage will both dictate how often it needs to be refilled. It is also important to remember, that they can dry out and then need to be filled again. To get the best quality imprint on every paper, be sure to purchase the same brand of refill ink. There are often optional colors to choose from but, again sticking with the original color will likely help you to maintain the same quality print.
