So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Use Different Cushion Foam Options

By Hannah Roberto

Cushion foam is designed with a specific environment in mind. This explains the existence of differences in softness and sturdiness from one variety to the other. A material is suited for outdoor, indoor, light duties, heavy duty, short duration use, etc. This calls for caution when making the purchases. Regulators in this field have provided different standards that must be adhered to during production.

High quality foam is manufactured with the latest technology that eliminates chances of ozone depleters, CFCs and heavy metals. They are durable and have been thoroughly tested for emissions. They provide comfort and confidence whenever used on any seat or seating area. These properties guide the choice you make about the cushions depending on the frequency of use and the area.

Poly foams are rated as medium in terms of firmness and are therefore best suited for areas that do not experience heavy prolonged use. They are used in mattresses for children and packaging goods. Their density is low, which makes them soft and reduces their lifespan to a maximum of two years. They thus are best suited for reception areas where guests spend a few minutes seated.

Super soft foams are used on cushions where patrons spend little time sitting. The soft foams are perfect for use as backs for coaches because the area does not take much pressure. On beds, they are used as toppers in supporting patients suffering from bed sores. Their soft and low density properties make them appropriate for beds. Their lifespan extends up to five years without the need to replace them. This reduces the overall cost.

Different varieties of regular foam cushions are available. They include the plain high density variety which is used on mattresses, chairs, cushions and benches. On the other hand is the Lux variety that ranks higher in terms of density. It is also used on benches, chairs and cushions and has an estimated standard lifespan of seven years.

There is high quality for high density and lux varieties of foam. They are both designed for heavy and regular use especially on seats in busy restaurants, service halls and receptions. They are not easily damaged with continued use and will last as long as seventeen years. Lux has a high LB rating compared to high density. When used to make mattresses, they last longer than when used on seats because of other user dynamics.

Dry fast foam is the preferred material for outdoor use. It is durable when handled with care and best suited for outdoor space because it dries or drains water very fast. Some of the areas it can be used include patio furniture, boat seats and mattresses as well as garden furniture. It feels comfortable in all weather conditions.

Making the right choice on cushion foam ensures that the sitting area is comfortable and can handle all weather conditions. The main factors that influence choice are how frequent the sitting area is used and how heavy the persons sitting on it are. Making the right choice reduces the frequency of replacement, making it comfortable and affordable. Ensure that you make the right choice for outdoor and indoor areas.
