Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Reasons To Use Bbq Sauce As Chicken Marinade

The most exciting thing about barbecue is bonding together with family. This is almost done by families in their backyard or in their patio. Anyone would love to eat some barbecue and chill with people they know. About this delicious recipe, we will try to see which marinating method is best suited for chicken barbecue.

Unsurprisingly, everybody has their own recipe for marinating. It could be fair to say that each version suits the family taste. On one hand, few people have been asking if it is okay to use Bbq sauce chicken marinade. Let us find out what they have said about the argument.

Some say that all you need is to dilute the thick barbecue sauce. Then, you can marinade the poultry overnight and grill it in the morning. It can also be brushed on the meat while trying to grill it. Thoroughly brushing the meat while marinating it is also suggested.

On a different point of view, indirect cooking have been suggested by some. This will cook the meat slowly and prevents sugar from getting burnt. They say that chicken could taste bitter if sugar gets burned. That is why, they are recommending to avoid cooking it directly from heat.

Experts also suggest that meat should be brushed with the liquid before the actual grilling. On one hand, when should you add the sauce or how thick it is will not matter as they say. Moreover, 6 minutes after the chicken had been cooked is the right time to add the sauce for sugar to caramelize.

In addition, the gravy be glazed to the grilled meat. Six minutes is all that it needs to dissolve sugar and eventually enhance the taste of chicken. This as well prevents sugar to be burned creating a bitter tasting sauce. Moreover, some would choose to buy a commercial marinade. Some would like to invent their own version.

Several of the marinades which can be created at home are the Jamaican Jerk, rosemary and lemon, lemon and pepper, red wine marinade, and the pineapple marinade. The easiest and commonly used marinade is pepper and lemon. These ingredients are easy to find and these are easy to prepare as well. You will need lemon juice and pepper, let the poultry sit in the mixture for 30 minutes, grill and then serve it.

Although there are hundreds of personal recipes online, the traditional way of preparing barbecue sauce is unbeatable. This is commonly a mixture of sugar, garlic, pepper, ketchup, lemon, and vinegar. You will need to get all of these in a pan, heat it for minutes, and set it aside to cool down. Make sure not to overcook the mixture because sugar might not caramelize properly.

There could a lot of ways to grill or barbecue chicken. Summing this all up, different versions are often the result of the curiosity of the people cooking it. Despite the difference in opinion, barbecue is all about having a great time with family. So long as it tastes well enough for the family to celebrate, it makes the whole fuzz of preparing these marinades worth the hard work.
