So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Gabriel Pediatrics & The Consumption Of Caffeine

By Rob Sutter

There are different types of beverages to take in and some of them should be moderated more so than others. This is where caffeine comes into play, which is a component that is seen in such beverages as black coffee, mochas, and other related products. The consumption of such items, from what I have seen, is starting to become more and more of a problem as of late. You may wonder what this means and how detrimental this can be to the younger group of people drinking them in particular. No matter your level of curiosity, Gabriel Pediatrics - as well as other specialists - can offer a viewpoint.

It seems like this is becoming more and more of a case these days, according to an article posted on WBUR. The article in question said that people in the 17 to 18 age demographic have been consuming caffeinated products about two fold more than they did ten years ago. How much of a problem is this, though, you may be wondering? I believe that the idea of three fourths of children in the United States drinking coffee every day is one that is indicative enough.

I believe that the idea of children consuming caffeine should be noted, especially when it can be done at earlier ages. Keep in mind the presence of soda, for example, in the household; unless stated otherwise, this is going to contain caffeine. However, I'd argue that this is an easier time for it to be regulated since parents have much more of a say in what their children eat or drink. With teenagers rarely being limited to their houses, such a level of regulation is not as prevent.

Keep in mind that the idea of teenagers consuming caffeine is not all bad, as Gabriel Pediatrics will be able to attest to. I think that teenagers have to be mindful of the amount of caffeine that they take in from day to day and I believe that they have enough of a level of awareness to understand where their limits lie. Teenagers can gauge this better than children, as names the likes of Gabriel can agree with. It's just a matter of making sure that caffeine usage is monitored as much as possible.

I think that the concept of people drinking caffeine so much to the point where regulation is no longer a factor is a bit tough to believe. People can become tired of repetition, which means that while a type of mocha now and again is fine, having one every single day can become rather boring. There really is no excitement to this, as something which is considered a treat is then taken for granted. For those who do not believe this to be case, moderation is needed.
