So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Great Dessert Recipes Using Gelatin Molds For Sale

Spring is here, that means summer is also approaching. As early as today we are already feeling the promises that the hotter season has to offer. People are now devoting their time to finding out how to beat the summer heat. Some are going out with friends and family for a day in the beach, some are staying in the solace of their air conditioned homes devoting their time to crafting, and some are just enjoying the view outside.

If you want to try out new cool food that could very well be your new favorites, then you might want to try adding gelatin. This jiggly substance can add a lot of color and texture to food that makes it irresistible to children. It is quite simple to prepare, too. You only need to cook it and pour it into gelatin molds for sale for that instant mouth watering look that everyone will not be able to resist.

This substance is, in pure form, colorless and tasteless. It is a product of processing meat. It is a very popular dessert item that is easy to prepare. There are now more than enough colored and flavored kinds available almost in very store.

Try using it in this new recipe that will delight your family. To make a Seven Layer Salad, you must prepare seven packs of assorted jelly. You will also need frozen whipped cream, four cups an a half of both cold and boiling water, and a can of evaporated milk.

The first thing that should be done is to coat with cooking spray a 9 by 13 dish. Then, dissolve a flavor in three fourths of a cup of boiling water. Add the same measure of cold water once in has dissolved., you can now pour the cooked gelatin in the mold then leave it to set. Get a second package, cook it in one half of a cup of boiling water then add cold water. Pour this second layer on top of the first and let it set. You must repeat these until all the packages are consumed. Top with whipped cream before serving.

Another dessert recipe is the Broken Glass. For this you will need one and a half cups of crumbled graham crackers, half a cup each of sugar and melted butter, and a package each of strawberry, lime, and orange flavored jelly. You will also need an envelope of unflavored gelatin, one fourth cup cold water, a cup of pineapple juice, and a carton of thawed frozen whipped topping.

Start by preparing the crust. All you need to do is to combine the sugar, butter, and crushed graham in a pan. Chill for a while in the fridge then set to work on the gelatin.

Meanwhile, while you are waiting for the jellies, you can start preparing the crust. To make the crust, you need to combine the crumbs, sugar and melted butter in a greased pan. Fold the cut jellies into whipped topping then gently place over crust. Chill for at least two hours then serve.

Truly, eating cold dessert is a marvelous way of celebrating the coming of summer. All these recipes are possible through the use of molds that help set the gelatin. You can even make one original recipe of your own if you try. With creativity, a sweet tooth and a great love for food, anything is possible.
