So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Helpful Indian Wells Plumbing Tips

By Rae Patricio

Even the best of houses have problems with the plumbing every now and then. Yet, a lot of common plumbing issues can easily be avoided if you know what to do. These useful tips from your Indian Wells CA plumber can help you avoid many common problems.

Save used paper towels and use them to wipe off dishes and cooking tools. If you flush grease down the kitchen sink drain, you may have trouble in the future. This is especially true with greasy pots, pans, and dishes. Each time grease enters a drain, a tiny amount sticks to the sides of the pipe. Over time, this collection of grease adds up and can make drains work slowly or not at all.

Small drips may not seem like much, but they can add up over time. In the Coachella Valley, water is a precious resource and the less you use, the better it is for the environment. Also, a dripping faucet can eventually flood a septic drain field. When you notice dripping, fix it as soon as possible and this will save you money.

Check your toilet bowl occasionally. If you see the water shimmering, it usually means that the flush valve is leaking. These valves are inexpensive and very simple to replace, and you may only need to buy a new flap. This will save a lot of water.

If a water pipe were to suddenly burst, you would need to shut off the main water supply as soon as possible. That is why you must know exactly where the shut-off valve is located on your property. Also, be sure the entire family knows, so you can avoid major water damage in the future.

When you have water leaks or stopped up drains in the home, your Indian Wells plumbing professional is only a phone call away. He will inspect your plumbing and fix any problems that you have. In fact, your plumber is available for you all hours of the day and night for emergencies.
