So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Tips To Properly Operate A Mag XL100

By Marylou Forbes

It is common for people today to have a flashlight. It does not really matter if that flashlight is added to the emergency kit or just laid around the house. When emergencies happen, the flashlight will be of great help to you. One of the best flashlights that you can actually prepare for emergencies is the mag xl100.

While it is only appropriate for you to have a light, it is even more appropriate for you to learn how this light can be operated. It is not that difficult to actually operate this light. You can just learn some tips on how to do so. For those who are using this light for the first time, here are some tips you can use for its operations.

First, know more about its battery holder. When you are installing the batteries, the negative side of it should be facing the spring side of the battery slot. The said flashlight will not work properly if the batteries are inserted incorrectly. In the worst case, the LED module will get damaged because of that.

When it comes to the normal mode of the said flashlight, there is a basic on and off function that you can take note of. If you want to turn on this flashlight while in normal mode, you just have to depress and release the tail cap switch. To turn it off, just do a subsequent press and then release the tail cap switch. The pressing should last no more than one second.

In addition to the normal mode, you can usually make use of four other modes. These are the Strobe mode, Nite Lite mode, Signal mode, and SOS mode. These are all the interactive modes that you can take advantage of when you do not want to make use of the normal mode of the said flashlight.

The selection of the mode you want to use is actually quite easy. All you have to do is to start with the light off. You should then hold your light horizontally to the ground. The icon of the desired mode has to be in the 12 o'clock position. Once done, you should then press and hold the tail cap switch to activate the mode.

It is possible to make some adjustments on the modes, especially for brightness as well as the blink rate. If you want to adjust the brightness, then just select the DIM mode icon and activate it. Rotate light right or left to change the brightness to the desired brightness level.

Another one that you can adjust is the blink rate. However, this is only possible when you are in the Strobe mode. In order for you to adjust your blink rate to your desired rate, then you just have to rotate it to left or right. Activate by simply releasing the said switch.

There is the lockout too. This is the feature that allows users to lock their flashlights. This prevents any accidental operation. To activate the lockout, you just have to aim your light to the ceiling, then press and hold your switch. Continue holding your switch, while you are rotating it downward, until the light is aimed to the floor. Release the switch after that.
