So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Conducting Estates Sales In Concho Valley

By Jordan Schmidt

Properties are left whenever there is death, moving out or divorce. These properties, when mandated in a will or upon the survivors' decision, can be sold at Estates Sales in Concho Valley . The most popular reason for sales like this is the owner's death. Other causes include a definite permanent move of a person and he cannot bring the properties with him or a divorce wherein both parties are not interested with a certain set of items anymore.

An estate sale is sometimes mistaken as the sale of a whole house or real estate property only. Every sale is different from the other. This can be likened to a more professional and expensive garage sale. Silverware, jewelry, works or art and antiques may be available in an estate sale.

Because of the item's assortment and their value, many opt to hire a professional to conduct the sale for them. Up to a maximum of 50% of the sales will be collected by the agent as payment. This depends on your deal or contract. Bereaved family members most often do this because they are too attached with the items that it will be very hard for them to let things go.

He will know of the paperwork's needed to conduct a sale. Their expertise also gives them a network that can give the right price for the items. More often, they can arrange a better deal outside of the main sale event. Most importantly, they are not emotionally attached to the items on sale and will conduct a deal more objectively.

When the goods are of high quality, it is wise to use a professional to organize and handle the sale. They will know the right prices and how much to discount for multiple purchases. He or she will get a percentage of the profits, and it can be as much as fifty percent. It may well be worth it if you cannot do the job alone or are too emotional about the property.

Make an inventory of all the items. Display the ones you will be selling and keep the ones you will keep well away from the display area. This will make sure that you will not mistakenly sell your precious music box.

Research on the correct price of each item. You do not want to lose a sale because of overpricing. You do not want to lose sales either by selling an antique at a very low price. You can ask antique collectors for the right price. You can search online market places for these also.

Set up the sale professionally. You want to sell every last thing on display. Position them in such a way that they will be enticing. Moreover, clean the items of you want them to sell like pancakes. Advertise this sale on your local newspaper or by streamers in your neighborhood. Depending on the market you want to reach, you may also opt to post in Facebook. You can also upload an advertisement in online auctions or estate sale sites.

You have advertised this sale and on the day itself, you need to be organized. Hand out numbers to manage the customer flow. Solicit the help of your friends so you are sure that no item gets stolen. You may also opt to set up a separate auction for the big items.
