So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Find your favorite repair shop and stick with them so that your car is taken care of and you have confidence in a qualified team providing both maintenance and repair services.

Check for certification. A good auto repairer will be ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certified and should have a certification indicating what areas he is proficient in. The National Institute should certify your auto repairer and shop for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE. It is easy for dissatisfied customers to post a complaint online in today's world, so check to see what kind of reputation a mechanic has before putting your car in their hands. Consult local consumer organizations, such as the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and chambers of commerce, about the quality and reputation of the shop. Ask about the nature number and resolutions of complaints raised.

If you go to the cheapest auto shop in town, you are very likely going to get what you pay for. The middle ground in terms of price will offer you savings, but you can still expect good work to be completed on your vehicle. You should always ask for proof before you allow someone to make repairs to your car. Consider whether the facility's image and level of professionalism meet your needs.

Give the shop a tryout. Look for signs of auto repairer competence. Car repairs are expensive, thus, even if you are not car-savvy, request them to show what is the problem. It could save you several hundreds of dollars. Customer service awards and plaques for civic involvement and registration with Better Business Bureau and many other consumer groups are a good indicator.

Good car mechanics adjust their schedules to offer repairs in the evenings and on the weekend. Ask your friends and family where they have taken their cars. If the technician is comfortable servicing the car while you watch, you may trust him. If the motor vehicle technician is apprehensive and uneasy about letting you look, you will never know if he is being honest.
