Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Look out for any leakage in hoses, dirt or corrosion. Filters should be changed twice per year.

Tanks should be kept topped up especially when the boat is not being used. This will prevent the formation of condensation in the tank. If there are external tanks, they will need to be washed a minimum of once a year. Oil needs to be checked three to four times a year. The oil can be accessed through a drain screw in the gear case.

Propellers need to be checked for any damages or rubbish. Fishing lines can get stuck around the shaft, causing water to leak in. They should be removed as soon as there are such leakages. It would help to carry old propellers around so that they can be changed if there is trouble.
