So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Redesign Softail Handlebars But Keep Safety Of Topmost Priority

By Jason Adams

Everyone needs to travel. People hop from one destination to another almost every single day. It is something we cannot avoid because people interact with one another and more often than not, interacting entails a lot of travelling. If you have your own means for transportation, then you are more convenient than the rest. It saves you so much time and effort and it allows the freedom to choose your desired route. Some people choose to own a bike as opposed to a car for the sake of practicality. Others, however, are fascinated with replacing parts and enhancing designs. These enthusiasts commonly tinker with softail handlebars as part of their hobby.

A motorcycle handlebar gives a mounting place for controls such as, but not limited to, brake and clutch. It is a tubular component for the steering mechanism of your vehicle. They come in the left and right sides of the bike which are also responsible for supporting the weight of the rider.

One must be responsible enough if one wants to acquire his own ride because it is not an easy task. It could look all cool but safety should always be of paramount importance. In comparison to a car, a bike is a little more risky as it only runs in two tires and the driver is more exposed to external harm. Hence, bike owners should always be careful.

Wearing the right gear is vital. Your casual jeans will not give you the protection you need from injury just in case it happens. Leather jackets and boots are more appropriate as these guard you against road rash in the instance you slide. In addition, never go on a ride without wearing the approved helmet. It will definitely keep you alive.

Assess your bike prior to its use. Give it a once over before hitting the streets. Walk around it to inspect any loose bolts or unwanted leaks. Further, never miss out on any maintenance checks. In case anything needs to be attended to, never delay its fixing. Resolve it as soon as possible.

Be comfortable with your own bike. Never bite off more than you can chew is a popular phrase and this also applies for picking your motorbike. Your two feet must flatly touch the ground if seated on your bike seat. If you think a vehicle is too much for you to handle, then do not go for it.

Be aware of the weather conditions at all costs. Remember that you are not completely covered up when it comes to motorcycles. Rain could be such a hassle during travel time. Be informed of what the atmospheric conditions could be so as to prepare you for whatever scenario.

Stay cautious of all the factors around you. Keep both eyes on the road just the way your father taught you. This advice is always a reliable one. The paths are not always seamless. Be mindful of zigzags and slippery streets. Take extra caution.

Stay in your happy place. Emotions are always capable of getting the best of us and driving is not an exception. Never drive when you are in an unpleasant mood as this might lead you to disaster. A skillful driver knows when to pause to prevent the worse.
