So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

For Good Aircraft Detailing NJ Offers A Recommendable Destination

By Ann Allen

Airplanes are usually exposed to some of the harshest environments in the air. The exterior surface in particular is usually exposed to intense UV light, extreme temperature and weather changes. With such an environment, it is likely that the exterior painted surfaces can experience accelerated corrosion and damage. To prevent such from happening, it is important that proper detailing is provided regularly. When one needs Aircraft detailing NJ offers the perfect location to visit.

Cosmetic life expectancy is extended for many years when the exterior and the interior of an airplane are well maintained. Most clear coats on the today are usually as capable of lasting for over ten years, this is not true. Most of them start showing signs of degradation only after three to four years. The surface of the paint becomes rough and uneven after this period. This makes it harder to do cleaning and maintenance.

The life expectancy of the paint can be prolonged to a small extent when detailing is done properly and regularly. Both private and commercial planes must be provided with aircraft detailing. An engineering department is usually maintained by most aircraft to provide maintenance. This engineering department should offer technical verification and approve of all cleaning products used on the plane.

That means that not all products one imagines as safe can be approved to be used on the aircraft. A list of all approved cleaning products one can use are normally included in the maintenance manual which accompanies the aircraft at the time of purchase. The list must be read keenly. This is important for ensuring only approved materials and products are used to prevent problems. In case alternative cleaning products exist, it is important for the engineering product to approve them before they can be used.

Interior cleaning operations can be classified into several types based on the amount of work available. If the time available is short, it means that only a few operations will be conducted. In a typical operation, the cabin needs to be cleaned as soon as passenger disembarkation has been completed.

If the passengers do not disembark form the plane, the cleaning should be conducted in a manner that would not disturb them. Cleaning the plane interior entails using approved cleaning materials and non-abrasive cloths to clean windows. After washing the windows, one should rinse them using clean water before they use a piece of cloth to dry them.

Sets that are covered by cloths need to be vacuumed. In case there are any sticky substances, they should be removed using a spatula before being vacuumed. If there are stains on any surface, an approved stain removal product must be used. Non-abrasive paper towels and approved cleaning materials should be used to clean passenger seat control unit panels.

In case of ample time, the cleaning should be done completely and thoroughly. Priority should be offered to specific areas like galleys and toilets when time is limited. Trash cans in the aircraft must also be emptied. Disposable swabs which are impregnated with an effective cleaning agent can be applied to do wiping operations.
