So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas

Useful Information Regarding RHD Conversion Cadillac Escalade

By James Smith

It is usually much safer for everyone if everybody drives on the same side of the road. What is considered as the right wide of the road varies from one country to another. There are those countries that consider driving on the right side of the road as the safest while other go with the left side. Here are facts regarding RHD conversion cadillac escalade.

Whichever side is deemed the safest often results in all vehicles driven in that country following this standard. Doing otherwise is illegal in most countries. In the United States people drive on the right hand side because the government thinks that it is safer to do this. That is why all vehicles whose steering wheels are on the left have to be converted to the right side before they can be driven in the country.

Over 90 percent of all countries worldwide drive on the left. However, the remaining 10 percent drives on the left. These countries include Kenya, the UK and Japan. The industry responsible for the conversion of the driving system in vehicles has tremendously grown and more stores keep on being established on a daily basis. Any brand and kind of vehicle can literally be changed from LHD to RHD and the other way around.

Most people who run conversion shops have several years of experience and have garnered a lot of experience in the industry. Most shops specialize in a given group of vehicles that they convert. Others do general conversion work and can convert any type of vehicle that a client brings to the store. Muscle cars are the ones that most shops convert. These include Camaros, Challengers, Mustangs, Corvettes, F-series trucks, and Ford GTs among many others.

All the parts of the vehicle that facilitate the process of conversion are connected to one another. This emphasizes the necessity for one to have the knowhow on cars and how the different components function together. This process starts with stripping the case of all components that need to be modified. Also, any component that makes it hard to access components that need to be modified have to be removed and returned later.

Although it is not necessary to modify the engine, it is important to remove it during the process. This is because the way to the firewall is usually blocked by the engine, making it difficult to access and modify the firewall. Most of the components such as clutch, brakes, climate control system, dash and steering wheel are attached to the firewall. The complexity of converting vehicles usually varies from one vehicle to the other.

The best tip to follow during the conversion is to ensure that factory metal is converted to the least level possible. The shape and features of the firewall usually have a significant effect on how hard the process is. Camaros for instance have a fairly flat firewall which makes conversion easier. On the other hand, Mustangs have a complicated firewall, which makes it harder to replace various sections accurately.

Examples of components that need to be altered in this process include firewalls, steering column/steering rack, pedals and hydraulics, doors, mirrors, and wipers. Others include behind dash components, indicators, mounted control levers, console, wiring, lights, gear, selectors, hand brake, seats, and glass. The type of vehicle determines how long the conversion takes.
