So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas

The Lady's Man And The Tuxedo

By Victor B. Sancharo

A sharp looking man with impeccable manners will turn on the ladies any time and any place. That which we call a lady's man is sure to be well-dressed and laden with chivalry, in order to win a lady's heart. And a tuxedo is sure to be in his wardrobe along with all the necessary accouterments.

Tuxedos have existed for ages and will not vanish from the fashion scenes, at least not in the immediate future. James Bond characters exemplify the popularity of tuxedos and all are aware of how he sets the female hearts aflutter in every movie that we see.

Tuxedos are basically formal party wear with no-nonsense cuts, preferably black with satin lapels. They are normally single-breasted, though at times you come across double-breasted ones too. They are the most preferred ones for light occasions, informal get-togethers with their simple contours, that spell comfort and casual attitude, the bottom line of macho men.

A room full of men in black tuxedos is the norm at many events and it can be hard to spot your man in the sea of suave and debonair looks.

Black tuxedos are also very popular in Europe. One man I know always wears black tuxedos to parties. I asked him what made black the color for him. He told me he had eight tuxedos and they were all in varying shades of black. Who knew there were so many shades of black?

Let's not forget the accessories that go with tuxedos. They have to be just right to work with that look. Understated platinum jewelry works very well. The key is to be light and airy and not gaudy and elaborate or you will look gauche.

Shirts should be simple and pastel shades are most in favor, with a flat finish that doesn't distract.

Please do no disregard the 'small but definitely indispensable tie' here. They have to be necessarily of slightly darker shade to get noticed as the shirts will be of pastel shades.

Hair as always should be neat and tidy, and not too feminine or elaborate in style.

Shoes have to be necessarily black for black tuxedos. Do not go for severely shaped ones, because if you have to look informal and casual, they had better be informal too.

Don't hesitate to get yourself a tuxedo. They are perfect for so many occasions and you will only be complimented for your elegance and style.
