So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

6 Things To Avoid When Purchasing A Ring For Mom

By Jillian Leigh

This year you might have been thinking about getting a ring for mom, but there are several things you might need to look at before you get that ring. Getting a ring might be a good idea, but getting the right ring is even more imperative. With a number of styles, stones, and options available it is tough to make the correct choice.

There are a couple of things that you need to avoid when you're looking to buy a ring for your mom. The compiled a catalogue of 6 vital things you have got to avoid when purchasing a ring for your mom will help you stay clear of difficulty. There is nothing worse then spending hard-earned cash on a present that your ma will not like or appreciate.

1st thing to avoid : don't buy a ring that would make your mom look too decrepid. Yes she might be older than you, but simply because she is, it does not mean that you should purchase her an old skool ring or a ring that is like an old design.

2nd thing to avoid : You need to avoid purchasing her a ring which has a cool new look. It would make her feel just like a teenager but it'll doubtless be something that your mom won't like wearing.

3rd thing to avoid : When purchasing mom's ring be certain to first know the thinness of your mom's ring finger. This is vital as you do not need your mom to be wearing your ring on her pinky finger.

4th thing to avoid : don't just spring to the nearest mother's's jewelry store to buy your mummy a ring. First determine what types of rings your mother likes, i.e. Does she like diamond rings or plain gold rings for example. It would be pointless buying a ring she doesn't really need to wear.

5th thing to avoid : Don't fall into the trap most jewelers lay for you, i.e. Gold rings that weigh more due to the inexpensive stones embedded in them. Buying a pretty ring is significant, but ensure it simply isn't a ring made of inexpensive material that's being sold for higher than its standard cost.

6th thing to avoid : avoid purchasing a colorful ring for mom. Most moms don't care much for all that glitter ; a simple shining gold ring would likely serve. You can also have the ring customized with your mom's name on the ring as well .

Do not just get a ring for mom, the idea is to get the right ring for her, something that she can wear for a very long time and remember forever. These pointers will help you avoid getting a ring she will not wear or, worse, simply won't like.
