So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Play Some Tunes in Your Jeep Wrangler

By Peter Thompson

There is no doubt that the Jeep Wrangler is built for tough roads and rugged trails. However, that does not mean you cant enjoy some quality tunes while trudging through some boulders and muddy pits. Outdoor adventures are always great when some good music is blaring from the background.

If you chose to have your Jeep Wrangler fitted with stereo speakers, the difficult part comes next. Speaker boxes come in many sizes and forms and most of them consume a lot space. And when it comes to space, the Jeep Wrangler has issues with it.

Do not go for sub par speakers. You will be driving in conditions where the outside noise can cancel out even your conversations. If you want to hear what you are playing with the wind rushing against you, you need a speaker system that can do just that. The challenge lies in setting up a speaker system that allows you to hear your tunes despite the outside noises that come with driving an open air vehicle.

The first step in this particular project is getting your Jeep Wrangler a subwoofer. Subwoofers really get the music out so you can hear them well. Even if there is wind coming at you when driving high speeds, properly installed and well-placed subwoofers allow you to register the music and sway to it.

After you got the subwoofers, next thing you need to do is get them inside an enclosure. This prevents the subwoofers to resonate the sound within your vehicle. If you are no car audio expert, you should hire someone who is since enclosing subwoofers is a meticulous process. Enclosures are made to fit the interior of your Wrangler, and you definitely do not want to mess that up.

Most car audio experts would suggest that you enclosed your subwoofer together with the amp. Dual speaker enclosures are ideal for the Jeep Wrangler. They not only make your Wrangler blast great music, dual speaker enclosures also conserve space, which is a big deal for most Wrangler users.

Rigging your Wrangler with speaker boxes will not come cheap. You will spend significant amount on money on this project, should you wish to pursue it. That said, loud music booming in the background while you navigate an off-road trail seems to be a good picture.
