So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Deals To Sharm El Sheikh

By Kevin D Peters

The resort of Sharm El Sheikh has a lot to offer families who wish to visit Egypt. There are many outdoor activities that children and adults together can try out from snorkeling through to scuba diving. There are various very plush hotels if a more luxurious holiday is what you are after. For sun worshipers try out the beautiful sandy beaches.

The flight times to the area vary dependant upon where you fly from initially and whether you get a direct flight or have to change planes. Transfer times once you have arrived are approximately 25 minutes.

You will find plenty of places to sample true Egyptian food. The Sharm Market sells Middle Eastern food at it's best. There is plenty of variety, but is a must for seafood lovers as this is a prominent feature in their cooking.

The majority of regional airports will fly out to Sharm El Sheikh. Some people prefer package deals where everything is included and others prefer to make their own itinerary and do their own thing.

There are plenty of deals to be found going out to the resort. The prices is dependant upon the requirements you have for your holiday. Cruises are very popular and generally include a mainland stay for a few nights and this can be anything from $2000 upwards.

Those of you looking for a package deal to take the stress of organising things will be able to find a deal where you will have seven nights in a upmarket hotel. This will set you back around $750, dependant upon the time of year.

For around $500 per week upwards you will be able to rent a plush villa that generally comes with it's own swimming pool. If you want to arrange your flight individually then you can fly out from LAX for around $1, 400. Miami works out to about $1, 280 and to fly out from JFK will set you back around $1, 150. These prices do fluctuate depending on what season and time of year you intend on taking your holiday. The cost also varies according to airlines and whether you fly directly or have to change flights.
