So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Holidays To Luxor: Nostalgic And Memorable

Egypt has become one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world. There are activities and culture that is unmatched. In Egypt there are different sites to see. Holidays to Luxor are becoming more popular every year for tourists from all walks of life.

This exotic land provides you with pleasures of civilization that goes way back in history. You will enjoy seeing temples, ruins that are very old going back in times, and hidden treasures to make holidays to luxor memorable.

Every visitor to Luxor wants to visit and view the remains of Tutankhamen, the boy king. These were uncovered in the Valley of Kings and have now been put on display in a climate proof glass box located in his tomb. Many other tombs are available to explore that have equal grandeur and importance.

Take into consideration that Luxor is in Egypt, which is a hot country. The day time temperatures at around 40 degrees Celcius. If you come from the northern part of the world then it would be wise to take sunblock. It will be wise for you to visit Luxor then between September and April.

Consider Luxor as being a perpetual history lesson. She has so much to offer the family. Be sure to bring your children along as they will love spending time amongst her ruins. Luxor also offers the older couple a more relaxing visit as she is not as hectic as her sister Cairo.

Of course, one cannot visit Luxor without meandering on her famous and majestic river Nile. There are plenty of excursions available for any type of traveler. Maybe a boat trip is just what you need to unwind and relax your weary body. Either way, when talking to other travelers, it would be their holidays to Luxor that would be the most vivid of them all.
