So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Vitamins You Need Or Should Take

By James Johnson

In order to get the vitamins, minerals, and nutrition the body needs, you need to start thinking in a healthy mindset. There are various body essentials, but in this article we will talk about some of the top vitamins that you should be taking regularly either through food or supplements.

Vitamin A - I've Got my Eye on You

Did you know that Vitamin A and Retinol are one and the same? Vitamin A, an antioxidant that prevents cellular damage, is commonly taken in order to moisturize the mucous membranes, skin, and eyes. Vitamin A can help the eyes to adjust better when entering an indoor area, particularly when entering from outside.

Boost your immune system with Vitamin B1

Vitamin B1 is a great vitamin to take regularly. With many different versions of the B vitamin, it can be difficult to know which versions are best to take. The benefits of Vitamin B1 include increased energy, a better immune system, and is great for getting your energy levels on top each day.

Vitamin D will Give you some Bone Leverage

If you want to strengthen your bones and prevent osteoporosis then Vitamin D is your weapon of choice. Medical studies have proven its ability to prevent osteoporosis and improve nerve and muscle functions, as well has bone and tooth formation. If you are in the sun a lot you probably don't have to worry too much about Vitamin D, but if you aren't...well... you might consider looking into this vitamin asap.

Vitamin K is the Blood Clotter

Vitamin K has many great benefits. One of the primary benefits is its ability to help the body blood clot. Without the appropriate amount of this vitamin someone who had even the tiniest wound opening could bleed to death. For the reason, among others, senior citizens should take this regularly. It will also help to prevent osteoporosis, improve kidneys, and increase bone repair ability.

Whatever vitamins you choose to take on a regular basis, make sure that you are either getting them from the foods that support these vitamins or taking some form of a nutrient supplement.

There are many multi-vitamins available that will help you get the amounts of all these vitamins, and more, without having to worry about the foods you eat. However, most nutrition experts allude to the fact that nothing beats getting your vitamins through eating the right foods.
