So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Top Tips on Shopping for Wheels and Tires

By Will Treps

Finding and getting the right wheel can be an important choice since it will eventually save you a lot of money and trouble in the long run. You also ensure your safety and that of your passengers. Here are some basic tips when shopping for tires and wheels.

Look for Package Deals

Dealers and retailers can sell wheels and their tires separately. This may be an option for you if you don't really need to replace your wheels just yet. Sometimes though, it makes better sense to shop for package deals. You can order all four car tires with their wheels. This can usually help you save a few dollars in shipping than if you ordered separately.

One other added advantage of ordering package sets is that you get only the best fit and mounting service from your dealer. If you aren't very experienced in fitting wheels and tires, you should just really leave it to the experts.

Look for a Lot of Options

Specific vehicle types should only be fitted with specific tire sizes and dimensions. This doesn't mean though that you have to be stuck with only just one tire and wheel brand or model. Look for dealers that can offer you wider selections and options for your vehicle.

Ask for Installation Instructions

Before you pay for your tires and wheels, make sure that they come with full installation instructions. Reputable dealers won't forget to insert the appropriate guidelines but you can never be too sure. Nothing spells frustration better than getting a whole package of wheels and tires and not knowing what to do with them.

Make sure your dealer is willing to offer help with finding someone who can install it if it doesn't come with any instructions on installation. It can be tricky finding installers on your own if you do not personally know any good ones. Look for an online tire dealer who already has a good list of installer prospects to choose from.

Read Reviews

Find out more about what you're buying. After reading through product information and the advice of your dealer representative, you should look for even more unbiased opinion. You can usually get that from other consumers who have tried and tested tires and wheels of different brands. Look for consumer opinions in forums or in online review and rating sites. This will help ensure that you aren't just being drawn by a sales representative who's trying hard to sell.

Evaluate Policies and Terms

Rules and terms can vary according to dealer. Make sure that you read all the fine print before clicking the buy button. You would want to be sure about shipping policies, exact costs, hidden costs, warranty rule and return policies. You would have to be at ease with all of your dealer's terms before you get a tire and wheel package.

Look for Customer Service

Look for a good customer service. Your dealer should have knowledgeable personnel who are ready and willing to answer all your wheels and tires questions.
