So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Toshiba TG01 Review Gets High Ratings

By Rick Stuart

Toshiba has a Smartphone that is now available in the market. Toshiba TG01 Review says it is par with the the Apple iPhone, the Toshiba TG01 is very slim at only 9. 9 mm. Carrying a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, it boasts of a 1GHz CPU making it the fastest and thinnest mobile phone by far.

The Toshiba TG01 operates on the Windows Mobile 6. 1; upgraded to 6. 5 on release. Its screen is the largest on any mobile at 4. 1 inches. Its borders included, the size is massive for a 3G at 129x70x9. 9 mm.

Amazingly just 129 grams, the phone is unbelievably light for its size. The lower left side of the phone has the volume control and power control. On the right are the USB socket and camera.

This new WVGA phone from Toshiba has three touch sensitive buttons that help you navigate through the screen. Calls are made and ended by simply touching the screen. Accessing the Free Pad through a bar at the bottom part of the phone helps you zoom in and out of web pages.

Enjoy taking pictures with the built in 3. 2 megapixel autofocus camera. Being minimalistic in its overall design, the Toshiba TG01 adds to the classy of its owner. Its applications too will make any owner proud. Pocket Office has Word, PowerPoint, Excel and One Note. YouTube and Facebook are installed too. It has a PDF viewer too; and music lovers will certainly appreciate the MP3 and MP4 player.

The WVGA screen display is indeed sharp; but it may not be very responsive as expected of a Snapdragon powered phone. With regard to alerts, the LED lights blue when a message is received; and lights red when battery is low. When the phone goes into sleep mode, the LED becomes green but press the power button and you exit sleep mode. This setting may be turned off to save on battery life.

Toshiba TG01 Review ranks this product with high numbers. On top of the sleek packaging of the Toshiba TG01, one needs only to flip it and reorient the phone to landscape view, and guess what? Find a dock, connect the TG01 to a keyboard, and you now have a mini personal computer. The Sync Software and the User Guide are on separate CDs. The TG01 package also comes with a micro USB charger, a headphone adaptor, plus a micro USB to USB adaptor.
