So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Take Care Of Your Car: Use Car Wax Or Car Polish

By Allan King

Everyone wishes for a car that is completely free of dust and stains, but looking after cars is a rather difficult job. If your aim is to make your car appear fresh or make it survive longer or even get a decent price when you resell it, then you will have to put in some time and energy on maintaining it.

Too much use of the car can spoil its shiny look due to the car being bruised by scratches, making it look old and worn out, especially if the paint is also fading. A comprehensive car care routine involving car wash, waxing, and car polishing can restore the look of your vehicle.

You first need to remove all the dirt through a thorough car wash with sufficient water and cleansing liquid, after which you have to decide upon either waxing or polishing it. There is often a doubt among car owners as to when car polishing and car waxing should be done. It is crucial for you as a car owner to have a fair idea of what the needs of your car are.

Car wax is made from carnauba and other wax ingredients, which make the car glisten and sparkle. However, car waxes lack abrasive compounds and so they cannot clean stains that are too deep. Moreover, they are not capable of withstanding harsh sunlight.

On the other hand, car polish possesses ingredients like Teflon, which increase its durability, providing an ever- lasting shiny appearance to your car. Also, polish is a lot more effective in case of marks and stains that are prominent.

When polishing the blend edges, work away from the boundary. The most recommended method for a blend edge is to hand glaze instead of machine polish. When you have to hand glaze, always a cloth that is soft and be sure it is clean for both the application and when taking the glaze off.

Generally, car polish is the most appropriate solution in case you drive your car daily on routes that are dusty. A car wax might be good for special events that need the car to have a special lustre, but it is not ideal for regular use. So you have to remember the model and build of the car and your daily routine when you think about what your car needs, and then decide upon a solution that makes the car look brand new and also fit for use for several years.
