So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Don't Be Confused By The Mystery Of Electronics

By Matt Thames

Electronics can be very confusing to most people who have no knowledge of how things work. There are parts that are inside of other parts and some of the tiniest parts out of all of them are the ones that make the thing operate in the first place. They don't always make sense and sometimes you don't even know where to find them so if your product isn't working as well as it should, there a reason that repairmen make a lot of money If you do know what you are looking for all you have is a useless appliance and most people would just rather sink money into buying a new one instead of fixing the old one.

They are a mystery to most people and so they are often hard to decipher and figure out when you need a new piece. Televisions have become so complicated and computer driven that most people would be scared to even look inside of one. Even if they did look inside, not much would make sense. It is like trying to fix something that you don't even know how it works. It doesn't make sense and so it can be scary.

It can be the same when you are trying to buy a new piece of equipment. Just like many people are intimidated when shopping for a new car because they don't necessarily know a lot of the technical aspects of the machine. And that is often why the salesperson will throw out all the specifications and ratios of the motor and technical aspects of the machine because it confuses the potential buyer and catches them off guard.

Most people will not admit when they do not know something, so they follow along as if they understand what the salesperson is talking about, because instead of stopping them and telling them that they are not following along, they pretend to understand. This often leads to missing out on asking the questions that you should be asking. Ask the questions that you need to ask. If the salesperson doesn't answer it in terms or content that you understand, ask them to explain it in a different way.

Don't be mislead by sales people who are simply trying to sell a product whether you understand the terms and agreement or not. Remember, when you are the buyer, you are in charge and there is no way the salesperson can change that.
