So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

The Breathtaking Mini Zen Fountain

By Graham S. Dumpson

People always relate the word Zen with the feelings of quiet and wellness. That is why when the word Zen is mentioned the figure that first comes to mind is a relaxing massage in a Japanese spa!

Zen is actually a division of Buddhism. To be correct it is a school of Mahayana Buddhism. Zen is a Japanese word which is derived of the Chinese word which is Chan which in English means "meditation" or "meditative state". The teachings of Zen underline the experience of "prajna" or enlightenment which you can only achieve by the practice of dharma and meditation.

It could be quite costly to have an everyday spa massage if you want to experience Zen that frequently. You don't even have to change your religion just to feel the spirit of Zen. Zen can be felt whenever you hear the calming rush of water from a Zen inspired fountain. The musical sound of its flow truly relaxes the body and eases the mind off all your everyday stress.

That is why you will regularly see a fountain in a spa massage center, in lobbies of hotels or in posh houses in the upscale urban areas. These fountains are not only attractive to look at but they convey a delicate architectural appeal which complements any interior. Traditional Fountains have made a little version of these fountains so you can have these superb pieces of art right in your own home.

The astonishing mini Zen fountain measures just 5 1'2" high and 4 1/8" in diameter. It is a cordless self-contained tabletop unit that operates on two AA batteries. You just have to add water and a tea light candle to experience Zen in your living room, bathroom or entertainment area. This fountain is imaginatively designed to look like three green bamboo trees with branches cut into spouts where the water slowly flows into two brown bamboos that are cut shorter. In the heart of the design is a purple watermill that turns as the water spills through it. The work of art sits on a square base filled with water.

You can place an order for this mini fountain on the Traditional Fountain website. It will be delivered to you within 8 working days by UPS Ground. It is affordable at its selling price of $22.70 (shipping costs included). This makes it a home accessory that is such a delight to have.
