So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Some Information About Mercury Outboard Motors

By James Bennett

Mercury Marine Company has been building outboard motors to power boats on the water since 1939. Along the way they have built up a loyal customer base and become know for the reliability and longevity of their motors. If you are looking for a new way to move your boat here are a few things you should know about Mercury outboard motors.

Every aspect of these engines is designed to ensure that they will safely move a boat on the water for years, regardless of whether the boat is used in fresh or salt water. They know that their customers need to feel secure that the motor that takes them out on the water will just as reliably get them back to shore.

To these ends, Mercury has a motor test center that makes sure that every engine is functioning properly before it leaves the factory. Each motor is put through a stringent series of tests that check big issues like fuel burning efficiency and power output as well as nuisance issues like noise and vibration levels.

To avoid the most common problem associated with outboard motors, corrosion, these engines a built entirely of stainless steel. This metal can withstand even the harshest salt water environments without succumbing to corrosion.

Maybe the most important reason to consider a Mercury outboard motor is the Engine Guardian system that comes standard with every one. This system constantly monitors the performance of the engine. If at any point it senses a problem it will instantly reduce the power out put of the engine but not stop it completely. This means that you will be able to safely make it back to land even with a damaged motor.

Throughout their seventy plus year history the Mercury company has been devoted to providing the most reliable and long lasting engines to their customers. That is why if you are looking for the best way to get your boat from the shore out on the water and back again, a Mercury outboard motor may be the answer.
