So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Tight On Cash This Halloween Season? Create Your Own Bee Halloween Costume For Halloween Parties

By Julie Boesen

If you're looking for a ways to be cash conscious this Halloween, you need to definitely give some thought to constructing your very own Bumblebee Costume this year for Halloween! Down below is an excellent affordable approach to dress up as a bee this year.

You will want this list of supplies:

1. Black colored pants

2. Bee antenna on a headband

3. Wide ebony tape

4. Black and yellow face paint

5. Yellow-colored hooded sweatshirt

6. Black colored footwear

Lay out your sweatshirt flat so that you have access to one entire side at a time. After that, take your wide black colored tape and begin to make lines side to side across the front about every two inches or so. Turn over the sweatshirt and finish precisely the same thing on the backside.

At this point it's time to apply the face paint to totally bring your costume to life! Paint black and yellow lines on your face using the yellow and black face color. You truly cannot get it wrong however you like to do this - after all this is your own produced costume!

One suggestion you need to do is be certain to extend the make-up directly into your hairline which means that your sweatshirt hood will mask the edge.

Put on your black jeans and black shoes or boots. Tug the drawstrings on the hood so that it tightens up around the head just over the edge of your make-up line. You will need to put your hair inside to make certain it does not show.

Place your bee antenna headband on top of your head over the hood of your sweatshirt.

Now you have your very own self crafted costume for Halloween! Put it on and get ready for the compliments to fly!
