Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

The LG P500 Android - Our Review Of This Affordable Smart Phone

When folks think of a smart phone, the last company they think of is LG; still, LG is slowly becoming a challenger. Manufacturers like Motorola and HTC got their success, courtesy Google's mobile operating system and LG's take on things is represented by the Optimus line. Majority of Android phones feature a lot of high end specifications, but the LG's version does not. Still, that has not stopped the phone from getting a lot of attention from the press. LG's version while being a bit stripped down, also makes it more inexpensive, which is ideal for individuals that want an Android phone but can't afford to spend a small fortune on a phone.

Advantages

When you look at the LG Optimus One P500 Android handset, you will see that the phone itself looks just like other phones running the Android OS. One thing that a lot of folks like is the 3.2 inch display, because the display is somewhat smaller it makes the phone easier to carry around in comparison to the larger phones. And of course, the LG Optimus One P500 Android handset features WIFI and Bluetooth which comes with all the LG smart phones. A neat little feature that is added to this phone is the built-in GPS. Navigating through the user interface is very easy in both portrait and landscape modes, thanks to the on-screen QWERTY keyboard and the accelerometer allows these two views to be changed with ease. The Quad-band and dual-band 3G with HSDPA support additionally add to an already great list. Likewise, you will never have to struggle again trying to hear things as the actual speaker is truly good quality.

Downsides

The disadvantages of the LG Optimus One P500 Android handset are a bit unique but nothing too alarming. Although the camera has auto focus, face detection and geotagging, nonetheless this LG smart phone only works with 3 mega pixels. Despite the fact that Android Froyo is installed, this LG smart phone does not have Adobe Flash support though the social networking integration is still pretty good on the connectivity side. This phone likewise merely works on a 600 MHz processor, which means while everything can pretty much run without problems, editing documents can be slow.

This LG smart phone is best for anyone who is looking to get a good quality smart phone without spending a small fortune.
