So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

How To Save Money Every Month With These 3 Simple Steps

By Alan Rochford

Although we all know how to save money every month by spending less, reality isn't always so simple. It's time to take a close look at your outgoings and find areas where you can reduce spending without cutting anything out. Here are three ways to do just that.

1) Shop Around For Cheaper Insurance

We all need insurance, so it doesn't make sense to just cut it out completely. However, many of us are stuck in insurance packages that are simply too expensive. Thankfully, it isn't too difficult to save in this area with a little research. Take advantage of price comparison websites that'll let you compare auto insurance quotes side by side, for example. You only need to enter a little data, and the website does the hard work for you.

This is the same when looking for a life insurance quote, or any other type of insurance. Although it may seem like effort, it really does just take a few minutes. What you'll get in return is a big saving!

2) Reduce Utility Spending

Aside from insurance, one of the biggest monthly outgoings comes from our utilities. Whether this means electricity, phone service, internet and so on, chances are there are savings to be had. If you're not locked into a contract then use the same tactic you did for auto insurance quotes: take advantage of comparison websites that'll help you spot the benefits of various providers side by side.

3) Add Up All Those Small Monthly Subscriptions

The last idea does mean cutting some things out, but only things that you don't need. Many of us are subscribed to monthly products or services and don't even realize. They're all automatic, so the money gets taken every month. This is why it's time you went through your bank statements and noted down everything you're signed up to. There are probably some things you can cut out here that won't make the slightest bit of difference to your life!

It isn't difficult to know how to save money every month, it just takes a little time. Whether you're just cutting out on a monthly service, finding discount term life insurance, or searching for cheap car insurance, it's well worth the time you'll spend for the money you'll save.
