I regard myself as a NASCAR enthusiast and have been for 25 years. This drives the spouse mad - well the noise does does. Nascar.com has had an item of software package out for the last few of years called Raceview. The application definately had some bugs in the program but this exciting year it is incredible! We view the competition on TV but keep an Attention on my favorite driver Earnhardt on the laptop PC to observe him keep choosing other drivers off and move to the front.
When you view the competitors on TV you can see the autos grouped collectively and the TV station will always select their favourite cars to keep a watch on but you lose sight of where your driver is located. The broadcast will ultimately give you the update and naturally you have the ticker going over the face of the screen but it is not the same as understanding what and where your driver is undertaking at all junctures.
Raceview allows you to follow your favourite driver at every point. You have numerous decisions like an a front and rear together with a top view. We can see how far he's to passing the next race car or how noticeably far the driver is from the flag - and the reverse of that is you can see who is about to pass you. This is crucial if you are at the end of the pack and don't really wish to go a lap down.
Raceview also have a toggle switch that may let usappear closer in or zoom out and get a larger image of the entire racetrack and circumstance. The artwork this year is amazing. It looks like the real car on the track and you can see how close they get to other vehicles. I just about know if they hit one another!
Now that was exaggerating but I assume you get my point. You may also hit the scanner dial and hear to all the drivers or just your favored automobile. Why didnt we think about this? Not that I could make it nonetheless it is amusing to dream. NASCAR has always kept up with technology in the pits to the autos; now they have moved the technology to us. I am simply a fan letting others know - sure you've got to be a NASCAR FAN to pay the price but it's worth it.
