So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas

1950's Icon Lingerie The Bullet Bra Is Back!

By Christine Harbour

A thrusting bustline as was made famous in the 1950's is making a come back. Smooth, or regular format bra's are for some at least being pushed to the back of the lingerie drawer in favour of the Bullet Bra. Yes, the highly defining, cone shaped 'Bullet Bra' is coming back into favour. This fabulous bra sometimes referred to as a torpedo bra can create that super classic 1950's curvaceous Marylyn Monroe look for your bustline.

The appearance of interest in presenting a cone shaped highly projected bustline actually started back in the late 1940's and gained a hold throughout the 1950's.

The object of the Bullet Bra is to present the bust in the classic cone shaped and very forward thrusting form. This style is of course, not something which would suite everyone. The Film Stars of the time literally created the momentum for the style and the 'Hello Boys' super woman bustline was born.

The continued upward trend and interest in the Bullet Bra in certainly real enough. This may be due to the appearance of the incredible over exaggerated Cone Shaped Bullet Bra sported by Madonna for her 1990's stage shows.

It's getting hot in here... Back in the day figure hugging sweaters or blouses with cleavage swelling deliciously were memorable hallmarks of the Bullet Bra for many. Office bound adoring male staff were mesmerised onlookers as though in a dream state such was the statement the thrusting chest evoked.

From the classic and thriving Cinema of the 1950's, such stars as Diana Dors, Doris Day and the incredible Marilyn Monroe were sporting the trending bustlines of the time - complete with underpinning from the incredible Bullet Bra of course. It was no surprise that American and British women soon took this trend and made it mainstream. The thrusting, cone shaped bustline had become the norm and was the hallmark of the curvaceous fashion conscious woman.

In the new millennium, fabulous 1950's lingerie is once again coming back into vogue. Yes, it is possible to purchase a fabulous Bullet Bra and all associated lingerie to complete the 1950's look such as the incredible seamed black stockings, the wondrous Deep 6 strap suspender belt and of course such delights as the Waspie and full Underbust or delightful Overbust Corset. It is also possible to obtain special cone shaped foam insets so that the smaller busted woman can pad out her Bullet Bra to become even more impressive!
