So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Arrived Broken - Evaporative Air Conditioning Review

By Samantha Howard

I was expecting a weak breeze, but it actually gives a pretty noticeable flow of cool air. I bought mine for $60 which isn't too bad considering I didn't need to pay for shipping.

There are millions out there, but after reading reviews, I decided to purchase this one. It arrived and I was initially put-off as I didn't think it would work very well simply by the looks.

Like so many products today, it is made to look nice but not to last. Don't waste your money. Secondly, the air that came from it had a smell that I didn't care for. I only used the item for a week, but this odor happened right away.

It's simple and straight forward to use. I got this as a father's day gift and I was a delight to receive it. You can run it on batteries and they last a decent amount of time, but unless you have rechargeable ones, it's a hassle to keep on buying new ones. I bought this cooler and took it with me on a trip to the DR.

We got 2 for the family and so far so good. Description they provide actually matches the product which doesn't always happen and it seems durable. From now on, I will hesitate on believing Amazon reviews because either the company is making fake reviews or they simply only post positive reviews. To elaborate: You have two options when using this fan; you can plug it in to a USB port on your pc or use batteries. The heat this year has been HOT and it's been a great help. This IS an air conditioner! My daughter found the Handy Cooler online and sent me the link. I found the product to be very intriguing, opposed to the pile of personal fans that were cluttering my desktop, end tables, car, purse and trash can.

Then there are those days that anything remotely warm will annoy me. Air conditioning is fine, but I seem to need something more isolated, and something I'm not going to use when I feel better. However, the product really didn't live up to the hype in previous reviews. It seemed to draw inconsistent power from the USB port of my brand new MacBook Pro, and would sometimes slow down or stutter, creating a distraction. I would buy this fan again. If you want you can mist your face with a water filled spray bottle (for women, if you are not wearing makeup) and let the fan blow it dry.

I had to get this when it was backordered 3 weeks but it was worth the wait. When you turn it on, it has a low humming sound which is a nice white noise and it does a good job of cooling the air.
