It is just amazing - the fan alone would be great, but the air blowing out of it is genuinely cool! Not like your car A/C blasting on max, but still unbelievable.
I bought two and used them both on the trip therefore not allowing me to get any of my money back and it leaves me with two useless items. Good luck to those of you looking for a way to keep your car cool and should you find one, LET ME KNOW PLEASE, Purchased 3 of these for a trip. I liken it to taking in a cool gust of wind while taking a walk on the beach (or at least that's how I imagine it when that cool air hits my face just right). Do yourself a favor and buy one of these things! Then I opened the box and found that my handy cooler that I spent around $60 for was full of dings and scratches! It had OBVIOUSLY been a previously used unit. There is something wrong with the switch - it won't come back on at all. It has been too long since I bought it so I don't think I can get a refund or a new one. The water cooled air works for my awful hot flashes, not just moving hot air around but blows cool air. You will like this fan. My husband attached the stroller bag that was also purchased to accompany this fan to her wheelchair (It fit PERFECTLY) and we were ready for the next day. Imagine our shock, disappointment and displeasure when we turned it on and NOTHING happened! I will try it out at the outdoor concerts this summer. This is product is very useful to me because in my city Fortaleza is very hot the most part of year. The product is quiet and about the temperature is true you can fell it the cold wind. While I am working on my computer, it just sends out this cool, comforting breeze on my face while I work. That is what I like to keep cool.
That said if you are trying to set it somewhere and cool a small area like a dog house or chicken coop it didn't work quite as well. First because it doesn't cool as well without the water and my chickens can't refill it LOL...I tried this in the coop because it's reached 110 degrees here recently in TX and we've had 26 days in a row over 100 degrees. Only downside is that it isn't rechargeable although you could always use your own rechargeable batteries or use the USB jack. Overall a good buy especially with the summer heat coming up!
I have used it both indoors and out. The batteries seem to last, but I have now ordered the AC adapter to use whenever possible. I also bought the flexible air tube for him to cool inside his heat-proof jacket. He loved the combination and does everything it claimed to do.
I am glad I believed her because this was better than I thought! It not only moves the air like a fan, but it cools the air down by using water to filter the air. However, this is the first I've seen at its size. A couple of important issues for anyone wanting an evaporative cooler: you MUST live in a place with a humidity level lower than 60% (it works better in lower humidity levels and at 20% humidity it is awesome).

Even though I have central air, I possibly could not get the MBR about the third flooring cool. My temperature gauge doesn't suggest that this evap cooler even works because it should be. ductless mini split air conditioner. It appears like Bionaire has finally fixed the issue. The fan takes hardly any floor space. hvac systems prices.
