Please offer the AC adapter on Amazon with *reasonable* shipping. I received this item as a gift a few weeks ago and I'm extremely happy with it.
This fan moves a good amount of air if placed around 4 inches from the hit. It is more of a desk fan for me, rather than one that I carry around although it was made for portable use.
But it is more akin to a hair-dryer on the cool setting, which is most welcome at any rate if you are in a stuffy or humid place. So, a warning: these things absolutely devour batteries. Alternatively, it comes with a USB cable and can be powered off your computer. The only problem is it doesn't work that well if it isn't hot.
This is an excellent fan to take camping. It really makes the air cooler using water. So for the fourth time I ordered the fan and I hope it lasts for her. She really likes it and I guess she is stuck with the ac adapter I purchased for it if it stops. The Good: DO NOT believe all of the hype on here...That's all it is, hype. During my pregnancy I got hot flashes all the time. They arrived in the mail in great condition in a timely manner, but using them is a headache. First you have to wash the sponges, and then you have to measure out the exact amount of water. I found the product to be rather bulky as well. Even though aesthetically stylish, I would feel self-conscious using this thing out in public as it is rather unusual. The fan speed/squirt fans do cool you off more but they can make your clothes/face wet which isn't for me. This is DRY alternative is good and it works well. I purchased two of these hand-held fans for a trip that my wife and I took to St Lucia. First of all, while yes they do blow a nice current of air it isn't super-cool air as they advertise, no matter how cold the water you put in the sponge is.
Love it being so lightweight and small; I can easily bring it to and from work every day. Delivery was fast. What I think is really nice is that you can put a few drops of aromatherapy into the water and the breeze creates a refreshing scent. I had my first Handy Cooler and loved it because it worked great at the office. The battery lasts long and the USB cable that allows you to plug it into the computer is very handy too. Not only do I use it outdoors I also use it when I'm on the computer at home.
We changed batteries in the unit again and it still would not work. I am very unhappy, I had high hopes this would help her tolerate the heat better.

Each and every effort is made to reduce the quantity of plastic material to reduce production costs. I'm using the unit in my bed room and may not be more pleased. air conditioner sizing.
