So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

A City Guide View Of Oxford England: What to Do Whilst Visiting London, England

By John Roney

London, the capital of United Kingdom is located in the south east of England and is home to a cosmopolitan, multicultural, vast and vibrant culture. It is one of the oldest cities of the world founded and developed by the Romans as a celebrated centre of commerce, always humming with life and activity. To be very frank London doesn't need any introduction.

A trip to London is not complete without a trip to the world-famous Madame Tussauds wax museum to visit the almost unsettlingly lifelike wax denizens inside. Be also sure to enter the London Dungeon to encounter the terrible dark side of the city. You will be able to see and learn about a side of London that few outside of the UK know about. Inside the Tower of London, you will discover the crown jewels and hear tales of prisons made especially for only the most important prisoners.

The National Portrait Gallery brings history and art together with exhibits of portraits depicting Britain's most famous historical figures. Plenty of small museums and art galleries are found in London's city center that are worth a stop, so make sure to leave time in your schedule to peek your head inside. A trip to Oxford Street is recommended for avid shoppers, and nearby Hyde Park is must for those who want to experience an English countryside setting despite being in the middle of a huge metropolis.

Manchester owns kinds of attractions for anyone to visit. Not only museums but also sports arenas and stadiums, music and theatre venues, art galleries are to be visited. Brighton is one of the most famous seaside resorts in the US. When Liverpool is talked about, the Beatles is remembered. The city is the home of the famous group and offers architecture, music and sports for the visitors. Cambridge is known as an university town. Birmingham is Britain's second largest city and offers lots of things to do and see for travellers because the city is suitable for cultural and sporting activities, shopping and entertainment. York is the reflection of the past.

Paris across the English Channel might be the fashion capital of the world and London's arch rival, but the English capital isn't far behind as far as fashion, trends, entertainment, literature, shopping, cinema, clubs, pubs, glitzy restaurants and deluxe hotels are concerned. In fact along with Paris and New York, London is one of the top 3 cities in the world in every imaginable and unimaginable department. You must check out the A City Guide View Of Oxford England, try out a sumptuous English breakfast and try to visit the nooks and crannies of the different parts of the city redolent of the charms of authors like Shakespeare, the romantic poets, dickens, other Victorian essayists and novelists, Eliot and all other illustrious figures of English literature.
