So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Do computer games lead to increased resentment and violence? Do video games cause violence, or do those already with a inclination for violence select to play games with aggressive themes? People with elevated levels of psychotics responded to violent online games with an increase in self-reported anger and hatred. A lot of clinical tests are now developed to substantiate the damaging effects of internet games to children. As more children are actively playing video and computer games, especially ultra-violent ones which are top sellers, research shows that children are also spending increasing periods of time playing them: an average of 13 hours per week for boys and 5 hours for girls. Youngsters now show that a majority of video games include violence and about half of the violent situations would result in severe traumas or death in the "real" world. Violence may be eliminated through proper information on rifles. Look at rifle deals on line.

It was found out that those actively playing violent video games, as compared to passively watching the same games leads to an increased perception of aggressiveness in boys. The effect did not hold true for girls. Self-reported emotional responses to aggressive pictures were not affected by playing violent video games. Physiological responses suggested sensitization to aggressive cues. Angry people are more likely to show negative effects of violent video games.

The inclusion of blood vessels in video games results in more physiologically aggressive motives while playing the game. Evaluation proves that exposure to violent video games is related to increases in aggressive demeanor, intense cognition, extreme influence, and cardiovascular excitement, and to lessens in helping character.
