So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

A Few Tips For Getting Your Falken Tires Back On The Road

By Sarah W. Bax

You may think that since your Falken tires are brand new they will not have to be changed any time soon, but the truth is that even the best tires on the road can run into a problem causes them to go flat. You never know when something like this will happen to you so you should always be sure that you are fully prepared for them, in which case you should try to keep a few helpful tricks up your sleeve for temporarily fixing a bad tire.

The best thing for a damaged tire is to have a spare one that you can switch it with already waiting in your vehicle. Every vehicle ought to come with its own spare, and if yours does not, you need to make it a top priority to head to the nearest tire dealer and get one as soon as possible. When you have a tire that is blown out and shredded to pieces, replacing it with a spare is the only thing that is going to get you off the side of the road anytime soon.

If you go over a nail or anything else that punctures your tire, you will probably end up with an air leak to fix, and the best way to do that is to get the proper tools you need to pull out the nail and plug the hole. As long as you can get the tire off of the vehicle and to someplace that has an air compressor on site, you should have little trouble plugging the hole and getting the tire aired back up. Though they can last for weeks, there is no guarantee on how long a plug with help you, so you should still look to get a proper replacement.

A lot of times, you could be dealing with little more than a tire that slowly deflates over the course of several hours, and slow air leaks such as that can typically be patched right up with a can of tire foam, which is used to seal the leak from within. As long as you get a can that is for the size of the wheels on your vehicle, all it will take is one can to get you to a nearby station where you can get more air.

If you truly want to be prepared for anything when it comes to tire troubles, you should have each of the aforementioned things in your vehicle somewhere. Of course, none of these are total fixes, so you will want to go shopping for new Falken tires at your earliest convenience.
