So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas

Norwegian Holidays:Historical Holidays in Impressive Bergen Hotels

By James Kendrith

In this article, I will give you some tips on where to travel in the winter if you love to ski. I have picked out a total of 5 ski resorts in Norway that I believe you should consider during the planning of this year's winter holiday.

Heading to the Scandinavian nation for a cruise will allow you to take in the action-packed capital city of Oslo, as well as the northernmost spot on mainland Europe - the Northern Cape. A number of companies take people to Norway via boat, but be sure to investigate the Cunard Cruise deals available before setting sail.

The cruise firm says that a trip to the nation, which is steeped in Viking history and full of cultural delights to suit all tastes, will allow you to see the "unequalled splendour of the Norwegian fjords" and the "captivating" capital city that is Oslo. Many of the nation's fjords are located to the west of the country, but you will come across these points of natural beauty in other parts of Norway too.

The four fjord regions in the west - More & Romsdal, Sogn & Fjordane, Hordaland and Rogaland - are worth checking out. More specifically, the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Geirangerfjord and Naeroyfjord should definitely be investigated. Meanwhile, Oslo is situated between the Oslo Fjord and the greenery of Oslomarka. It offers visitors a host of things to see and do, and is a top destination for places to eat. Whether you are on a last minute cruise or you have booked up your trip to Norway well in advance, you will find the capital city to be - in the words of Visit Oslo - "a unique destination" due to the combination of its bustling hub and close proximity to the natural world.

Some of the main attractions in Oslo include the TusenFryd Amusement Park, which offers fun for all the family, and the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History - a centre worth visiting to see what makes the local people tick. Norwegian Holidays allows you to experience the natural phenomenon that is the northern lights, as well as safaris where it is not uncommon to spy whales and eagles in their natural habitat. With such a diverse range of selling points, surely it is about time you booked a cruise to the Scandinavian country?
